Shannon Baucom

Shannon Baucom is a highly motivated and accomplished energy executive with over 14 years of varied energy industry experience performing generation technology evaluations, recommending energy conservation measures, assessing market dynamics, and promoting energy innovation and renewable generation programs.   As a JP Morgan power trader, she excelled in designing, implementing and managing complex PPA agreements and complex hedging strategies for municipalities and industrial clients all while trading a financial transmission trading rights book.  As a Resource Planner for a utility, she was a strategic planner with great peripheral vision to brainstorm recommendations for generation and various utility programs.  She was also responsible for producing, coordinating and preparing testimony, exhibits and technical appendices for state utility commission filings.  In addition, she has used her financial modeling and analytical valuation skillset (including NPV, IRR, cash flow, LCOE and earnings impact) to assist clients in choosing energy investment/asset acquisitions, PPA’s, implementation of utility programs and RFP’s.  She has authored several reports and academic publications on Energy Storage and delivery.  She holds a Masters and Bachelors in Economics.  ​

Rick Brown

Elizabeth Cleveland

Elizabeth Cleveland is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, with a focus on the state’s clean energy industry report, organizational strategy and metrics, and cross-agency collaboration on clean energy projects. She has over 10 years of experience in public policy, non-profit, and strategic planning work. Elizabeth helped drive transformation in the Massachusetts solar industry with funding oversight of over $43 million in innovative rebate programs, facilitating over $495 million in private investment for about 100 MW of solar across the state. In a prior role, she was responsible for managing the Center for Sustainable Energy’s Clean Energy Advisory Services. J. David Erickson

Dave has 15 years of experience in distributed renewable energy planning, analysis and policy, smart grid policy and planning, microgrids, and strategy development for the utility of the future. Dave is currently the principal at E3R Consulting, specializing in market structures for distributed energy resources. Prior to starting his own company, he was head of the Distributed Energy Resources section for DNV-GL Energy Advisory America.  Earlier he served in the Energy Division of the California Public Utilities Commission. At the CPUC he was lead analyst for the Distribution Resources Planning proceeding focusing on defining optimal locations for distributed energy resources. Jaquelyn Fairbairn

Jaquelyn Fairbairn has over ten years of experience focused in solar, energy efficiency and project finance. Jaquelyn (Jaq) now focuses on offering Energy Storage Solutions globally as the Director of Sales & Strategic Development at Simpliphi Power. Jaq has led installation of over 40 MW of residential solar projects in over eighteen US utilities.  Most recently Director of Operations, Implementations and Service Delivery at OneRoof Energy, she provided residential solar financing to national customers through channel partnerships. Jaq began in the solar industry at California Solar Innovations, navigating renewable energy policy and the utility landscape. Before that, she facilitated incentive programs for Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA began its Community Choice program in 2017). Tina Greco

Tina Greco is a registered Nurse, currently providing hospice care with Vitas Healthcare, one of the nation's largest Hospice providers. Prior to her start as a Case Manager, she volunteered with the CA Nursing Association in Haiti following the 2010 Earthquake. This experience led her to remain in Haiti through the end of 2015, working with Holy Name Medical Center as Director of Clinical Operations. Tina holds a nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin -Madison. She is very active locally, supporting a monthly climate change speaker series in Oceanside and volunteering since 2008 for OFA (Organizing for Action) on issues of Climate Change and the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare). Peter Hamilton

Pete leads the consulting firm Better Energies, working at the intersection of technology, policy, and the market to profitably decarbonize our energy supply. Prior to founding Better Energies he was a director at the Center for Sustainable Energy. Pete has worked as a venture capitalist, engineer and consultant in over a dozen countries. His clients and employers have included Eurus Energy, Sharp Electronics, EnerNOC, NRG Energy, Solar Turbines (a Caterpillar company), Lockheed Martin as well as various investment funds, startups, and non-profits. Ryan Hanna

Ryan Hanna is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, San Diego with affiliations in the Center for Energy Research and Deep Decarbonization Initiative. He has authored several reports and academic papers on renewables integration, combined solar+storage systems, electricity markets, microgrids, and greenhouse gas emissions. His research focuses include modeling and optimization of distributed energy resources, in particular microgrids and reliability. Tyler Norris

Tyler Norris is a proven leader with charisma and passion. While studying at USD, Tyler pioneered several movements including Soulr, a student run solar powered food cart designed to fundraise for campus organizations and speed up food delivery in a positive way. Tyler’s interest in engineering and clean energy led him to invent the Soulr Cart. After successfully piloting the program the concept was implemented full time at USD, and now is set to be scaled to a number of institutions. Soulr has been featured on the television show “Quit Your Day Job” on Oxygen network, where Tyler competed for an investment and powerful mentorship, which he successfully achieved. Charles Wilson

Charley Wilson retired in December 2015 after 17 years at Southern California Edison (SCE), primarily in public and external affairs.  In this capacity, he served as point person for governments and business associations, spearheading mechanisms to increase engagement and educate cities and towns throughout the SCE service territory on issues of rapidly changing energy policy and planning.  Concurrently, he also serves on the Board of the Santa Margarita Water District and as Chairman of the Southern California Water Committee, where his focus has been on the energy-water nexus.

Stephen Yatsko 

Steve Yatsko has over 40 years of experience in renewable energy. He developed over 3,000
MW of utility-scale wind and solar projects; negotiated over 200 PPAs involving utility and
corporate off-takers; project financed over $64 Billion of energy, mining and infrastructure
ventures around the world, some involving tax equity to monetize the benefits of renewable
energy; advised Fortune 500 companies on the procurement of electricity from onsite and
offsite sources and obtained regulatory approval for over 1,000 MW of renewable energy
procurements by SDG&E to fulfill Renewable Portfolio Standard mandates. He has been
involved in all forms of technologies, except nuclear and is knowledgeable on generation
configurations ranging from stand-alone installations to micro-grids involving storage. Steve
brings the perspectives of the key constituents to energy generation and procurement
activities.
